Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Experience with CAD CAM is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate orthodontic and dental appliances using digital tools.
• Prepare and finish dental prosthetics including crowns and dentures.
• Utilize advanced digital workflows for in-house production.

Due to rapid expansion and onsite developments, BaycliffDental & Implant Surgery are seeking to recruit an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our ever expanding, amazing team.

You will be using state of the art technology including3D scanners and printers, crown milling machine and the highest levels of digital dentistry.

• Orthodontic appliances
• Crowns and bridges
• Ceramic or porcelain application
• Retainers, Bite raising appliances and Whitening trays

We currently offer all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic, oral surgery, private and NHS dental treatments.

Job responsibilities

Working 40 hours over 5 days per week, 8:30-5:30 you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

• Whitening trays, bite raising appliances, stents and splints.
• Design, mill, glaze and stain ceramic work such as crowns and bridges. Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
• Prepare plaster models and moulds
• Polish and buff dentures
• Finish metal framework of dentures
• Mould wax over dentures set-up
• Utilising our digital workflow to offer a range of in house appliances within your scope of Practice.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Valid GDC registration
• CAD CAM: 1year (preferred)
• Lab technician: 1 year (preferred)
