Cornwall’s leading specialist dental practice is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to work alongside a General Dentist in a fully private setting. This part-time role combines independent hygiene clinics with chairside assistance, all within a modern, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality preventive care, including periodontal maintenance, scaling and polishing
Provide chairside assistance to the General Dentist during restorative and cosmetic procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health and preventive strategies
Maintain meticulous clinical records and adhere to all regulatory standards
Collaborate with dentists, specialists and support staff to ensure seamless patient journeys
Contribute to the practice’s reputation for clinical excellence and patient-centred care
Candidate Requirements:
GDC-registered Dental Hygienist (with or without dental therapy qualification)
Experience in private practice desirable
Confident in both independent hygiene delivery and chairside support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
