Glendair Dental in Alfreton, Derbyshire, private practice, is looking for a dental hygienist to join a thriving team. The role focuses on delivering preventative care to an established patient base, with appointments tailored 20 minutes - 60 minutes and access to modern EMS Airflow technology.

Fridays are dedicated with potential to add more days as patient demand grows. GDC registration required; dual Hygienist/Therapist welcome; supportive colleagues and private diary in place.

Qualifications

• GDC-registered dental hygienist or hygienist/therapist.
• Private practice experience preferred.
• Dual Hygienist/Therapist qualification preferred, otherwise Hygienist accepted.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy practice with an established patient base and make an immediate impact. You'll be caring for a broad mix of private patients of all ages, delivering high-quality preventative care while building long‑term relationships with patients.
Appointments are tailored to individual patient needs and range from 20 minutes - 60 minutes. This flexibility allows you to provide the right level of care for every patient.
For dual‑qualified clinicians, there is an opportunity to support therapy treatments, helping patients begin treatment sooner and reducing waiting times.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

• Is GDC registered as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Hygienist/Therapist.
• Has experience providing exceptional hygiene care in a private practice environment.
• Ideally has dual Hygienist/Therapist qualifications, although experienced Hygienists are encouraged to apply.
• Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
• Is passionate about preventative dentistry and delivering an outstanding patient experience.
