Job description

Job Title: Band 2 Dispensary Assistant

We are seeking a Band 2 Dispensary Assistant to support the clinic dispensaries and assist during examination and treatment clinics at Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the running of clinic dispensaries and support clinical staff.
  2. Hand out dental instruments and materials, manage stock control, and work closely with dental nurses and students.
  3. Maintain cleanliness in dispensary and clinical areas.
  4. Prepare the clinical environment under supervision, including setting up dental units and instruments.
  5. Implement infection control measures, including clearing used instruments and maintaining hygiene standards.
  6. Distribute instruments and materials to staff and students.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Training will be provided.
