Job summary

Dental365 in Warren, NJ is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our patient-centered practice. You will support the dentist, take digital radiographs, and help maintain a clean, safe treatment area.

Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience and x-ray license preferred.
• State-required certifications or licenses to perform duties.
• Resume showing a stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients with a smile and ensuring comfort.
• Assist the Dentist with various procedures.
• Take digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Maintain infection control by sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Prepare and sanitize operatories for treatments.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies to ensure a healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene as needed.
• Support office operations as needed.

HIRING SCHEDULE:

• Monday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
• Tuesday: 1:00pm - 7:00pm
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am - 1:00pm (1/month)

• Can be flexible on hours if needed!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a smile, making them feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit.
• Support the Dentist with various procedures.
• Taking digital radiographs and intra-oral scans as prescribed.
• Ensure strict infection control by meticulously preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Sanitizing and prepping operatories for respective treatments.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety policies, prioritizing a secure and healthy environment.
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene strategies as needed.
• Undertake diverse office tasks as needed for seamless practice operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior dental assisting experience and x-ray license preferred. Open to applicants on the pathway to obtaining their certifications!
• Any certification/license as required by the state to perform specified duties.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Salary Range: $16/HR - $24/HR (range may vary based on experience level)
