Public Services Delivery Scotland is recruiting a Dental Adviser / Dental Reference Officer (DRO) to support NHS Scotland's general dental services. The post can be full-time, part-time, or job-share, with placement and salary determined by qualifications and experience.

You will review plans, approve or adjust treatments, perform pre- and post-treatment verifications, and travel across Scotland for DRO duties.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of dental practice and ability to assess clinical plans.
• Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
• Effective communication with practitioners and colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Answer questions posed by practitioners and review treatment plans for prior approval.
• Conduct pre- and post-treatment examinations to ensure quality of care.
• Undertake post-treatment verification to support clinicians.
• Travel across Scotland to undertake DRO duties as required.
