What does the role of Dent repair Technician involve?

  • Making assessments of damaged vehicles, deciding how best to repair it and estimating the time and cost for the repair
  • removing any dents in panels
  • Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork or preparing the surface for a paint sprayer and keep records of all work carried out

What do you need to succeed as a Dent Repair Technician?

  • NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Body Repair
  • Experience in the role
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
