AW Demolition is a Greater Manchester based demolition firm undertaking projects across the whole of the UK. Due to several ongoing projects and new contracts due to start imminently, we are looking to expand our team of excavator operators.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site based role. The machine driver will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery to demolish structures, following safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating demolition machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, dumpers etc.
  • CPCS preferred (with D90 advantageous) however NPORS will be considered.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in demolition work
  • Strength and stamina to work in a demanding environment - Fit to Work/Safety Critical Medical would be beneficial.
  • Full UK driving license essential

Applicants must show commitment to looking after excavators, attachments and company vehicles, undertaking daily maintenance such as greasing, fuelling and cleaning up. Operatives will be required to use their own initiative as well as work as part of a team. Must be willing to work away from home, as we are fortunate enough to take on contracts of all sizes on a nationwide basis. Competitive package offered, including training opportunities for the right candidate.
