Job summary

OLG Recruitment are seeking a Construction Engineer (Demolition) for a client in Scunthorpe on a 12–24 month contract. You will plan, coordinate and manage demolition projects safely, ensuring compliance with CDM, health and safety, and client requirements.

You will lead contractor coordination, develop demolition methodologies, manage programmes, and engage stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering demolition projects.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors, consultants and RAMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage demolition projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Develop demolition methodologies, work programmes and sequencing plans.
• Coordinate surveys, utility disconnections, asbestos removal, and enabling works.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget and to quality standards.
• Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions.
