Job summary

Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking an experienced Democratic Services Manager to lead and develop the Democratic Services function. You will report to the Chief Legal and Monitoring Officer and manage the Democratic Services Team to support governance across the* Combined Authority, Merseytravel and associated committees and panels.

You will provide expert advice on constitutional, procedural and governance matters while ensuring statutory requirements are met and maintaining

• Experienced governance or democratic services professional.
• Strong understanding of local government decision-making and committee administration.
• Ability to provide procedural and governance advice to elected members and senior officers.
