St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust hosts an Alzheimer’s Society UKDTN Research Nurse (Band 6) on a fixed-term contract of 36 months, working full time (37.5 hours per week). The post coordinates the UKDTN research portfolio and supports delivery of early phase dementia trials.

The role involves data collection, patient interviews, MDT coordination, and acting as a patient advocate within a multidisciplinary team. DBS checks and professional registrations are required.

Competenze

• RN with Current NMC Pin.
• Diploma / Degree in Nursing.
• GCP certificate, or willingness to be trained in GCP.

• Coordinate and manage UKDTN research portfolio at St George’s University Hospitals Trust.
• Identify suitable patients via MDTs and screening notes for trials.
• Collect data, interview, support and monitor patients; ensure informed involvement in trials.
