Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Alzheimer's Society UKDTN Band 6 Research Nurse to support and coordinate early-phase dementia trials at the NIHR Clinical Research Facility: Oxford Health, based on-site at Warneford Hospital.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, recruit and monitor trial participants, collect data and samples, and ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with the NMC (active PIN) in Adult or Mental Health Nursing.
• Knowledge of dementia care and research.
• Experience in mental health and dementia settings or care for MCI/dementia patients.
• Experience conducting clinical research across dementia/mental health designs.
• Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of research governance and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver early-phase dementia clinical trials within OH CRF and collaborators.
• Recruit, educate and monitor trial participants; manage data and samples per protocols.
• Work with clinicians, sponsors, memory clinics, and other partners to ensure trial conduct.
• Ensure compliance with local, national and international research regulations.
