The Dementia Nurse Specialist will support Barchester's memory lane communities and other facilities requiring specialist dementia interventions. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting quality assurance visits, analyzing clinical data, supporting statutory requirements, ensuring dignified treatment of residents, and integrating current dementia knowledge into practice.

This role involves supporting performance reviews, quality assurance, clinical governance analysis, regulatory compliance, dignity and emotional support for residents, safeguarding, research-informed practice, project development, clinical leadership, staff support, strategic planning, and supporting investigations related to dementia care.
Responsibilities include clinical reviews, quality assurance, data analysis, regulatory support, dignity and emotional care, safeguarding, evidence-based practice, project development, leadership, collaboration, and support in investigations or complaints.
This position requires a DBS check due to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
