Job description

Are you passionate about improving the lives of people living with dementia? Do you have the vision, expertise, and empathy to lead innovation and best practice across dementia services? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

As one of Scotland's most respected care providers, we support individuals and families affected by dementia through our residential homes. This role represents an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance the quality, consistency, and reach of those services across our organization.

As Dementia Development Co-ordinator, you will play a leading role in driving forward our dementia care, overseeing the development and delivery of our dementia strategy, and working closely with colleagues to embed best practice. Supporting staff through training, resources, and practice guidance will be key, along with listening to and learning from those we support and their families. You will also build strong relationships with external partners to influence wider dementia care policy and practice across Scotland.

We are looking for someone with significant experience in dementia care, particularly in service development and staff support. A strong understanding of current policy, best practice, and legislation is essential, along with excellent communication and leadership skills. The ability to work independently, flexibly, and collaboratively will be key. A relevant qualification in health, social care, or a dementia-related field would be highly desirable.

In return, we offer a supportive and inclusive working environment where your contribution will be valued, with access to high-quality training and opportunities for professional development. Most importantly, you will be part of a team committed to delivering care that transforms lives.

The role will be based in our regional office in Bellshill, with significant travel across Scotland.

If you're ready to bring leadership and heart to this vital area of care, we’d love to hear from you. To discuss the role further, please contact us at .uk, and we will arrange an informal conversation.

We offer a range of benefits, including retail and leisure discounts, a contributory pension plan, death in service benefit, family-friendly policies, health cash plans, and a care concierge service. We also support your professional growth through training and development opportunities.

CrossReach has been a leader in social care for over 150 years, providing loving care and pioneering services that have changed lives. As part of the Church of Scotland, we aim to provide services in Christ’s name, and this role requires you to have a Christian faith and uphold our Christian Ethos, as mandated by law.

This position requires membership in the PVG Scheme, registration with SSSC, and legal right to work in the UK. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, valuing every individual’s background and experience.
