Caremark Harlow & Epping Forest is recruiting a Dementia Specialist Care Assistant to provide thoughtful, practical support to people living with dementia and reassurance to their families. If you are patient, dependable and passionate about making everyday life better for others, we would like to hear from you.

This home-based role involves visiting clients in their own homes across Harlow and Epping Forest. We offer flexible hours (full time or part time) with shifts such as 7-3, 3-9, and 9-3.

Qualifications

• Shows kindness, patience and respect in all interactions.
• Experience supporting people living with dementia.
• Communicates clearly and keeps accurate care records.
• Follows care plans, safeguarding procedures and confidentiality.
• Holds a valid driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
• Has the right to work in the UK and can complete recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centred dementia support at clients' homes.
• Adapt communication to each individual and their family.
• Assist with daily living activities and medications as trained.
• Travel between client visits in the Harlow and Epping area.
• Record observations and report concerns promptly.
