A leading UK care provider is looking for an experienced Dementia Care Manager to oversee the Dementia Community. The role includes managing care strategies, building strong relationships with residents and their families, and working closely with the activities team. A commitment to high standards of care and a comprehensive understanding of CQC standards is essential. The Dementia Care Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Dementia Community at Avery Healthcare, implementing and embedding the company's dementia care strategy and managing resources within a given budget. They will build caring relationships with residents and families, work closely with the Activities Team, and promote a culture that enables residents to maximize their capabilities and enhance their quality of life.
As a Dementia Care Manager, your key responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and person-centered care plans, building relationships with residents and families, working with the Activities Team to develop meaningful activities, and promoting a culture that optimizes independence and quality of life for residents with dementia. You will need a minimum of 3 years\' experience in a similar role, comprehensive understanding of CQC standards, and industry-relevant qualifications.
