Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support my grandmother in Norwich who has Alzheimer’s. The role involves visiting 2–3 times daily, helping with personal care, meals, and companionship, and building a trusting relationship with her.

Dementia experience is strongly preferred and reliability is essential. We offer flexible hours to fit your schedule. The position may include light housekeeping and ensuring she is safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Experience with Alzheimer’s/dementia preferred.
• Reliable, compassionate and patient.
• Able to build a trusting relationship with the client.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and meal preparation.
• Assist with daily tasks and accompany social activities.
• Support independence and safety at all times.
• Live-in arrangement may be required in some cases.
• Dementia care training may be provided.
