UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant in Cramlington to support a gentleman living with Alzheimer’s disease.

The role offers full-time hours and a 14.67 per hour rate, with a focus on person-centred care, dignity, and safety in the home environment. The successful applicant will provide personal care, help with meals, mobility, and daily activities, while maintaining compassionate companionship and respect for the patient’s independence.

Competenze

• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia.
• Understanding of Mental Capacity Act 2005 and consent.
• Experience with personal care and continence support.
• Able to support mobility and safe moving.
• Willing to undertake further training when needed.

Mansioni

• Assist with personal care, washing, dressing and continence.
• Support mobility and safe moving.
• Prepare meals and ensure hydration and nutrition.
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities.
• Support routines and promote independence.
• Recognise changes in health and report them promptly.
