Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and competent mental health nurse, with an interest in the care of older adults, to work within our Diagnostic Memory Clinic.

The Tower Hamlets Memory Clinic provides a dynamic, innovative and responsive service for the population where dementia diagnosis rates are increasing. The clinic provides high quality comprehensive assessments and diagnosis for people experiencing cognitive decline by working actively in partnership with service users, carers and relatives. This includes quality post-diagnostic support and intervention that promotes independence, social inclusion and maintains quality of life. The service works in partnership with other teams, statutory and voluntary agencies as well as universities and other research organisations.

You will be responsible for supporting service users and carers through the diagnostic pathway by providing comprehensive cognitive assessments and post-diagnostic support.
