Your role at Clorox:

The Senior Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining the forecast and managing supply and inventory for multiple Clorox product categories across all channels, customers, and distributors. Additionally, this role drives the continuous development of the S&OP process.

Responsibilities include balancing the demand plan to support both product supply and business strategies, submitting official forecast commitments for financial and inventory planning, leading category S&OP meetings, and participating in category projects. Ensuring optimal inventory levels by monitoring supply plans, replenishment orders, scheduling requirements, and supplier capacities across manufacturing locations is also key.

The role involves developing data-driven insights, analysis, and tools to improve forecast accuracy, supporting excellent customer fulfillment rates, and executing the business sales plan.

In this role, you will:

• Create and maintain rolling 18-month forecasts monthly using forecasting systems and tools.
• Build forecasts based on historical sales, trends, and post-activity evaluations, collaborating with sales and marketing to refine assumptions.
• Ensure forecasts align with company revenue expectations, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Work with sales teams to compare distributor and customer forecasts, inventory levels, shipment trends, and POS data, and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Communicate critical changes proactively to supply chain partners.
• Manage demand planning for new products, transitions, and discontinuations through collaboration with project leaders, sales, marketing, and finance teams.
• Develop long-range budgets and forecasts annually, reviewing and submitting quarterly updates.
• Lead monthly demand alignment and GM brief meetings, ensuring process adherence.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in the S&OP process.
• Establish and monitor forecast accuracy and bias KPIs, reporting results and driving improvements through stakeholder engagement.
• Manage the day-to-day supply/demand relationship between manufacturing locations and EU/SSA business.
• Oversee capacity and scheduling to maximize product availability, communicating risks and actions promptly.
• Coordinate with customer care, export, planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage the introduction of new products and changeovers, coordinating with project leaders, sales, marketing, and finance on supply timings, phase-outs, and demand expectations.

Key Objectives

Percent of Time:

• 60%: Lead the S&OP process, drive forecast accuracy, manage safety stock, support sales volume maximization, and improve performance metrics.
• 30%: Engage in continuous process improvement, document operational processes, and support growth in new products/brands/categories.
• 10%: Execute team strategy, provide analysis and reports for strategy development.

Required Qualifications and Capabilities

• 5+ years of supply chain and demand/supply planning experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods.
• Business degree or relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with planning software, advanced MS Excel, analytical skills, report writing, and master data management.
• Broad understanding of supply chain and business finance.
• Independent working style, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational abilities.
• English language proficiency is required.
