Where you’ll be based

This role is based in Feltham, London, with hybrid working (60% in the office, 40% WFH). From late 2025 / early 2026, our head office will move to Richmond upon Thames.

How you could help us to enchant the world with chocolate

The Demand & Supply Planner will serve as a key link between the Ireland commercial and UK supply chain teams, focusing on forecast accuracy and supply planning efficiency. The role involves optimizing inventory flow between UK and Ireland warehouses, ensuring product availability while minimizing waste and costs.

This high-visibility role acts as the main liaison for the Irish market within the broader supply chain, responsible for delivering reliable, customer- and brand-level rolling forecasts. The planner will use demand & supply planning tools and collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance to drive integrated planning and execution.

Key responsibilities include leading monthly demand reviews as part of the IBP process for Ireland and UK customers, co-owning customer forecasts with the sales team, and providing forecasting insights through analysis of purchasing trends. A commercial mindset is essential to interpret market dynamics and translate them into demand plans that support growth and service excellence.

The role also involves collaborating with marketing to deliver long-term forecasts at the brand and division level, and facilitating alignment meetings to support strategic planning. Regular travel to Ireland is required to maintain engagement and alignment.

  • Act as the primary interface between the Ireland commercial team and UK supply chain team, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Lead and facilitate monthly demand and IBP reviews, using forecasting tools to deliver accurate forecasts at SKU and customer level
  • Generate insights through data analysis, explaining forecast outputs and variances
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and logistics teams to align on forecast assumptions
  • Evaluate and improve demand & supply planning processes
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, assessing impact on service levels and inventory
  • Manage new product introductions and SKU transitions, ensuring forecast accuracy
  • Work with demand control and supply planning teams to ensure future demand visibility
  • Plan and place replenishment orders for Ireland from the UK and factories
  • Build and optimize Ireland load compositions based on demand forecasts
  • Liaise with 3PL providers, factories, and hauliers for inbound deliveries
  • Communicate stock and service risks proactively
  • Manage Ireland warehouse capacity, including stock policies and inbound loads
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements in planning processes
What experience you will bring
  • Proven experience in demand and supply planning and IBP/S&OP within FMCG, ideally UK and Ireland markets
  • Proactive learning mindset and adaptability

  • Experience working with sales or marketing in a commercial FMCG environment
  • Strong commercial acumen to interpret market dynamics
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of account management functions for business analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP and demand & supply planning systems (SAP S4, SAP IBP, SAP R&S, Visual Fabric) is essential
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Maths, Science, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred
