Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead replenishment and drive stock availability across product lines. You will oversee a team and partner with suppliers to meet annual KPI targets.

The role focuses on end-to-end supply chain optimization, using Power BI to deliver actionable insights and ensure robust trading decisions across the business.

Qualifications

• Solid replenishment experience and proven ability to lead a team
• Experience in demand planning within retail/wholesale/distribution
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities with BI tools

Responsibilities

• Manage the demand planning team to maximise product availability across commodity groups with seasonal sales
• Communicate opportunities and risks to the wider business
• Support end-to-end stock availability and mitigate risks
• Lead daily huddles to inform, share, understand and challenge the group wide demand planning strategy
• Work with Power BI data sources to analyse and provide rich data to the business
• Investigate high stock levels and wastage and drive resolution
• Ensure end-to-end stock availability across supply chain
• Build strong trading and supplier relationships to deliver annual KPI targets
• Guide the team to maintain stock holding targets at commodity group level

I am currently recruiting a Demand Planning Manager for a highly successful business within the retail, wholesale and distribution

This is an exciting time to be joining a growing business. They are looking for someone who has solid replenishment experience and ideally experience of managing a team or person

• Manage the demand planning team to maximise availability on all products in commodity groups with varied seasonally driven sales
• Communicating opportunities and risks to the wider business
• Support the end-to-end stock availability, ensuring risks are mitigated
• To action and ensure that daily huddles are completed with the purpose to inform, share, understand and challenge to ensure delivery of the group wide demand planning strategy
• Consistently working with Power BI data sources, using these reports to analyse and provide rich data to the wider business
• Ensure that the team investigate high stock levels and wastage working towards resolution
• Make sure supply chain end to end stock availability is achieved
• Lead the demand planning team to build strong trading and supplier relationships to maximise and deliver the annual KPI Targets
• Lead the team to work to stock holding targets at commodity group level, whilst taking responsibility for managing and analysing stock to ensure high inventory levels
