Job summary

Pelsis Group is seeking an experienced Demand Planning Lead to head the Demand Planning team and strengthen forecasting and S&OP across the business. You will collaborate with Sales, Commercial, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to align commercial expectations with operational capability.

In this role you will lead monthly reviews, challenge forecasts with data-driven insights, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting processes and planning maturity.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning or S&OP.
• Experience leading a planning team and coaching others.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and planning processes.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights and actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management across Sales, Commercial, Finance, Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Demand Planning team, building capability and performance.
• Own oversight of demand forecasts across product portfolios, customers and regions.
• Support the delivery and development of S&OP/IBP processes and connect to wider planning.
• Lead monthly demand reviews with cross-functional stakeholders to align future demand.
• Provide challenge to forecasts using data and insights to improve planning quality.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and KPIs, driving improvement actions.
• Identify risks/opportunities and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Supply Planning for short/medium-term outlooks and gaps.
• Drive consistency in forecasting processes and reporting standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for forecast reliability and planning maturity.
• Support planning systems implementation and dashboards.
