Job summary

Job description

Position Summary

The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support business growth, inventory optimisation, and operational efficiency. This role leads the monthly rolling forecast process and annual Management Plan cycle, working closely with Sales, Product and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment between commercial expectations and operational capabilities.

The individual will drive forecast accuracy improvements, identify demand risks and opportunities, and proactively manage commercial forecast variances to support business.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Forecasting & Planning

• Develop and maintain monthly rolling forecast at individual product and market levels.
• Build the annual Management Plan at individual product & market levels, taking into consideration market developments and growth.
• Analyse historical sales trends, market dynamics, seasonality and customer insights to generate accurate forecasts.
• Ensure forecast data integrity within planning systems and reporting tools.
• Provide demand insights and recommendations to support inventory planning for the regional warehouse.
• Identify product opportunities and product upgrade opportunities to contribute to the industrialization plan.

Forecast Performance Management

• Monitor forecast performance and identify root causes of forecast deviations to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with sales team to understand drivers behind volume fluctuations.

Reporting & Analytics

• Generate monthly forecast accuracy reports by market and variance analyses.
• Market share reporting
