Job summary

THG Nutrition is seeking a Demand Planner to manage the supply chain planning model for product launches and monitor stock profiles of newly launched products. You will work closely with NPD, Marketing and Trading to align launch dates with regional lead times and ensure forecasts feed into Supply Planning and Procurement.

The role requires strong numerical skills, experience in planning, and the ability to communicate with key stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and reporting skills with Excel; SQL desirable.
• Experience in a Supply Chain/Planning role, preferably in FMCG.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the product launch tracker for nutrition brands.
• Plan launch dates with NPD, Marketing and Trading within regional lead times.
• Feed forecasts to Supply Planning and Procurement to optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with planning team to meet production demand and stock reach fulfilment centres globally.
• Drive improvements through post-launch reviews and highlight overstocks to trading teams.
• Manage exit strategies for discontinued SKUs and oversee inventory during transitions.

Why be a Demand Planner at THG Nutrition?

As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining the supply chain planning model for product launches in the Nutrition division, including tracking sales performance and analysing stock profile of recently launched products.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop the product launch tracker for nutrition brands.
• Work closely with the NPD, Marketing and Trading teams to plan launch dates within product and regional specific lead times.
• Review and the feed forecasts into the Supply Planning and Procurement teams ensuring the optimal amount of stock is ordered to mitigate any future stock risks.
• Collaborate with other members of the planning team to ensure that production demand can be met and that stock reaches the relevant fulfilment centres globally.
• Drive improvement through post launch reviews. Monitor the success of product launches and highlight any resulting overstocks to the trading teams.
• Rationalisation - Manage the exit strategy for discontinued SKU's by identifying redundant packaging and bespoke raw materials. Overseeing inventory management throughout the process.

What skills and experience do I need for this role?

• Strong numerical and reporting skills applied in Excel, SQL desirable
• Previous experience in a Supply Chain/Planning role ideally within FMCG
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail
• Supply chain/commercial background desirable
• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the business
• An understanding of ecommerce desirable
