At Myton Horticulture, we deliver quality, freshness and value within our Flower category. As the Demand Planner for flowers, you’ll be the critical link between customer need and operational delivery, ensuring our buying and production teams are aligned to a robust, forward looking forecast that drives commercial performance.
This role is ideal for someone who loves digging into the data, spotting patterns in complexity, and influencing cross functional teams to stay on track and ahead of the curve to deliver the best for our customers.
What you’ll be doing:
Build and maintain a rolling demand forecast across the plant portfolio, using a blend of historical data, future needs, promotional plans and seasonal trends
Partner with Buying, retail and production teams to translate commercial plans into volume forecasts, ensuring we’re ready to meet customer needs and expectations
Proactively review forecast accuracy and highlight key variances across sales, intake and stock. Recommending changes and driving corrective actions
Align forecasts to include big event demand drivers, such as Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Christmas etc.
Support long term capacity planning by identifying future demand risks and opportunities based on category growth, customer behaviour and range changes
Collaborate with site planners and suppliers to ensure stock, lead times, and growing schedules are aligned
Use forecasting systems and reporting tools to create clear, actionable insights for internal use and customer use
Contribute to the broader sales & operations planning process, ensuring we have the right volumes in the right place at the right time
We’re looking for someone who is commercially aware, confident with data and curious about how product and customer decisions shape operations.
You’ll need:
Experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain or commercial planning, ideally within a short shelf life category
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sources and turn them into a clear narrative
Proficiency in Excel / Sheets and experience with forecasting or planning systems
A strong understanding of the end to end supply chain process, and how demand signals drive procurement, production and delivery
The ability to influence and engage across multiple functions both internally and externally
