Job summary

A leading procurement institute in Wolverhampton is seeking a proactive Demand Planner to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will develop demand forecasts, collaborate with teams, monitor inventory, and analyse forecast accuracy. The ideal candidate has experience in demand planning, strong MRP/ERP skills, and a degree in Supply Chain or Business. This position offers £24 - £26 per hour PAYE.

Demand Planner — £24 - £26 an hour PAYE — Wolverhampton — DAYS

We're looking for a proactive Demand Planner to join our dynamic manufacturing team and play a key role in driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing as a Demand Planner

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and support production planning to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Analyse forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning processes.
• Identify risks and opportunities in demand and supply, and recommend actionable solutions.

What We\'re Looking For as Demand Planner

• Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong MRP/ERP experience — SAP experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred).
