The Demand Planner creates and maintains forecast models for our customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information from sales, marketing, finance, retailer data, and other sources (e.g., Nielsen). The role involves building strong relationships with sales, marketing, and customers, and collaborating on forecasts, promotions, and range reviews.
Main responsibilities include developing demand forecasts, analyzing sales trends, monitoring KPIs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing customer relationships to ensure product availability and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Experience in FMCG, demand planning, and supply chain is highly desirable. You should be highly organized, analytical, proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications, and familiar with demand planning and ERP systems. Strong communication skills, customer focus, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A continuous improvement mindset and strategic thinking are also important for success in this role.
