Demand Planner
  • Location: Castle Cary
  • Salary: £31,900 - £35,900 dependent on experience
  • Company performance bonus
  • Hours: Mon-Fri
  • Type: Permanent
Job Purpose

Working with the senior demand planner to deliver an accurate forecast for 700 products across 14 sales channels and 2 territories, in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders. The role aims to improve sales volume predictability, positively impacting customer service levels and supporting inventory optimisation.

What are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience (demand or supply planning)
  • Experience with planning systems such as FuturMaster, SAP
  • Excellent analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Stakeholder management experience with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Proficiency with data systems and analytics tools like Power BI
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate to create accurate volume demand plans for segments and customers
  • Facilitate demand review meetings with key account managers
  • Maintain data quality in planning systems, managing product launches and changes
  • Track forecast accuracy, measure deviations, and implement corrective actions
  • Identify process improvements to reduce cycle time
