They are now looking to add to the team with the recruitment of a Demand & Supply Planner.
THE ROLE:
The Demand and Supply Planner is responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring a balanced supply chain to meet customer needs efficiently. This role involves collaborating with sales, production, and Supply Chain teams to align supply chain activities with market demand and company objectives.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyse historical sales data and market trends. Use tools to predict future demand and collaborate with sales for accurate forecasting.
- Supply Planning: Develop supply plans, coordinate with production and procurement, and monitor supplier performance.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels, implement control measures, and analyse trends.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams and communicate plans effectively.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor KPIs, prepare reports, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Continuous Improvement: Enhance forecasting and planning processes, implement best practices.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Experience with advanced planning systems and demand forecasting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems (Netstock is preferable), Microsoft Business Central 365 and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Resourceful and proactive attitude.
