As a Demand Planner you will play a key role within the Go-To-Market organisation of the Gardena Division, reporting to the Regional Demand Planning Manager.

You’ll work closely with the Country Manager and other internal partners (KAM, Marketing, Finance, BU, customer care) to create, phase and maintain a 18 month forecast contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions to our customers.

The positions requires excellent ability to work and communicate transparently in cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders, and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Create, manage and adjust short-, medium-, demand forecasts in collaboration with sales, finances, marketing, and supply chain teams.
  • Analyse sales history, market trends, and promotional plans to build reliable forecasts.
  • Actively participate in regional demand planning meetings
  • Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy. (BIAS/WAPE/Forecast coverage)
  • Identify gaps between forecasts and actuals, and propose corrective action plans.
  • Contribute to the management of commercial operations (e.g., additional volumes, feasibility checks, integration into forecasting tool and sales request files).
  • Liaise with supply planner to proactively communicate demand changes impacting inventory and stock transfers
  • Ensure correct and smooth product lifecycle, at demand planning side (phase-in phase-out)
  • Be proactive in improving planning processes.
