Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a market-leading Leeds business to recruit a Demand Planner. You will own demand forecasting, inventory investment decisions, and supplier relationships to ensure stock availability while supporting commercial growth.

The role offers a 37.5-hour week, flexible hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days from home), 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, free on-site parking and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Analytical and technical background.
• Advanced Excel skills, PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own demand forecasting and weekly order planning to keep stock availability on track.
• Develop seasonal buying strategies for promotions and peak trading periods.
• Spot stock opportunities and make inventory investment recommendations.
• Plan ahead on capacity and run Minimum Order Quantity reviews.
• Manage supplier relationships to improve service levels and lead times.
• Partner with Channel Managers and report on forecast accuracy, stock levels and supply chain performance.

As a Demand Planner, you will own demand forecasting, inventory investment decisions, and supplier relationships across the business's core product categories, ensuring stock availability while supporting commercial growth.
