Demand Planner

Rochdale | Permanent | £34,500 - £36,500 | Hybrid Working


We're looking for a Demand Planner to join our client's supply chain team in a permanent role based in Rochdale. This is a hybrid position ideal for someone analytical, proactive, and experienced in planning within an FMCG or similar fast-paced environment.

As a Demand Planner, you'll manage the short, mid, and long-term planning and replenishment of a defined product portfolio—ensuring stock availability, accuracy in forecasting, and excellent service to customers while keeping costs and inventory levels in check.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own demand and supply planning across a product portfolio.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and planning data in SAP and IBP.
  • Manage stock orders from suppliers, production sites, and co-packers.
  • Monitor KPIs (SFD, CSL, ICSL, SSL) and resolve supply issues.
  • Coordinate import and co-packing activities efficiently.
  • Support launches, promotions, and phase-outs with timely planning.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Demand Planner or similar role in supply chain.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, SAP, IBP, and BI tools.
  • Background in FMCG preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
