Demand Planner
  • Location: Castle Cary
  • Salary: £31,900 - £35,900 dependent on experience
  • Company performance bonus
  • Hours: Mon-Fri
  • Type: Permanent
Job Purpose

Working with the senior demand planner to help deliver an accurate forecast for 700 products across 14 sales channels and 2 territories in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders. Improving predictability of sales volumes will positively impact customer service levels and support inventory optimisation.

What are we looking for?
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience (demand or supply planning)
  • Experience with planning systems such as FuturMaster, SAP
  • Excellent analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Stakeholder management experience with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience working with data systems and analytics tools like Power BI
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Demand function to create accurate demand plans for specific segments and customers, covering short, medium, and long-term horizons
  • Facilitate demand review meetings with key account managers to ensure forecast alignment
  • Maintain data quality in planning systems, managing product launches, delists, and market changes
  • Track forecast accuracy, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions
  • Identify improvements and automate manual processes to reduce cycle time
