Job summary

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, is recruiting a Demand Manager to lead customer demand planning and forecasting across product categories in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will own forecasts, collaborate with customers and internal teams to improve forecast accuracy and service levels, identify demand risks and opportunities, and support the S&OP process.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning, Customer Supply Chain, S&OP or Commercial Planning.
• Proven customer-facing experience within a supply chain environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or similar reporting experience is advantageous.
• FMCG, food, drinks or consumer products experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

£45,000 – £50,000, Monday – Friday

We’re recruiting for a newly created Demand Manager role, responsible for leading customer demand planning and forecasting activities while acting as a key link between customers and internal teams. This position offers the opportunity to drive forecast accuracy, improve service performance, support S&OP processes, and build strong customer relationships within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
