Stroud – Permanent – Full-time – Day shift, early finish Friday – Salary Dependent on Experience

A long-established engineering firm in the Stroud area is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to oversee scheduling and coordination of post-production processes. This is a pivotal role within the manufacturing operations team, responsible for ensuring efficient flow and delivery of components through critical finishing stages.

The Role:

• Act as the main point of contact for client updates regarding process progression
• Coordinate priorities for finishing operations, ensuring timely movement of parts through key treatments
• Plan around team availability and equipment downtime to maintain workflow continuity
• Communicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment with production targets
• Support internal teams in delivering to strict customer deadlines
• Provide visibility of project progress to management and stakeholders

The Person:

• Minimum 3 years’ background in a fast-paced production setting
• Strong multitasking ability, able to manage overlapping priorities and shifting timelines
• Confident using standard software tools (e.g., Excel, Outlook) and manufacturing systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of compliance environments (e.g., aerospace standards such as AS9100) – advantageous
• Familiarity with treatments or surface finishing processes – beneficial
