Job Title: DeltaV Automation Engineer

Location: Portsmouth, NH 03801- (Remote)

Duration: 05 months
Pay rate: $49/hr on W2

Job Description:

  • Support ongoing client operations through technical assistance as it relates to the manufacturing and process automation systems. Provide a technical resource to operations customers to ensure that instrumentation and automation systems are designed and operating to meet production needs. Develop technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and processes automation systems.

  • Design, implement, and test automation changes in DeltaV plant-wide control system in support of upstream and downstream biological process improvements and tech transfer.

  • Provide technical support in relation to automated systems when necessary. Writes documentation (functional design, configuration, etc.) that detail automated processes and document any changes in existing equipment design or operation

  • Support resolution of equipment breakdowns and quality issues in the suites

  • Conduct troubleshooting and technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and processes automation systems including PI data analyses, review/troubleshooting code, etc.

  • Assist with tech transfer, projects, and process improvements as needed.

  • Performs all work safely and meets the requisite training requirements.

  • Complete change request lot assessments to support lot release

  • Review SOPs, Functional Specifications, and work instructions

  • Remain up to date on all assigned training activities

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education:Bachelor’s of Science

Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with focus on Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to think critically and logically.
