DeltaV Automation Engineer - Northern Ireland - 12 Months Contract

Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on coding, testing, and commissioning of DeltaV automation systems, ensuring robust and compliant solutions for pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, configuration documents, test plans, and validation protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise DeltaV systems to ensure proper functionality, system reliability, and adherence to project specifications.
  • Participate in commissioning and startup activities, including system validation, operator training, and performance optimisation.
  • Support project execution as a team member or project lead, including upgrades, system performance improvements, and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, programmers, technicians, business disciplines) to deliver integrated automation solutions and support business objectives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Requires extensive experience as an Automation Engineer in a pharmaceutical or biopharma plant
  • Extensive hands-on with Emerson DeltaV (coding & testing)
  • Strong S88 batch process control knowledge
  • Onsite project delivery experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
