Job summary

Berwick Care is seeking a Full-Time Dispatch and Warehouse Assistant to support delivery of goods and manage warehouse operations. The role includes occasional delivery driving and requires organisation, reliability, and attention to detail.

The candidate should be able to lift heavy items, communicate effectively with customers, and hold a valid driver’s license. Hours up to 50 per week, with times to be negotiated.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy goods safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Up to 50 hours per week - hours to be negotiated.

Responsibilities

• Check goods onto the delivery van, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Deliver goods to customers, placing items in designated safe locations as requested.
• Collect returned items from customers and process them accordingly.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles efficiently.
• Check off goods upon arrival and ensure accurate stock management.
• Put goods away in designated storage areas, maintaining warehouse organisation.
• Assemble and/or label products as required for dispatch.
• Pick and prepare goods for dispatch to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
