Job summary

FPS Distribution Ltd is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. The role is dual-purpose, requiring you to perform in either Driver or Warehouse Operative duties as needed in the Branch.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Warehouse or commercial vehicle parts, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and reliable timekeeping. The position is on-site with flexible responsibilities between driving and warehouse tasks.

Full UK Driving Licence is required.
Good timekeeping and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

Pack and load products onto vans according to company's specifications.
Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
Unload goods as per client specifications.
Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly.
Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times.
Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
