Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics is seeking a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This dual role requires versatility to perform in either function when required in the Branch, with prior experience in warehouse or commercial vehicle parts being advantageous.

Essential: full UK driving licence, reliable timekeeping, flexible approach, and IND2 status. The role supports efficient deliveries and stock handling across branches in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Pack and load products onto vans according to specifications.
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes.
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
• Unload goods as per client specifications.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer.
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and ensuring accuracy.
• Oversee dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries.
• Check and put away supplier deliveries; inform line manager of shortages or damaged stock.
• Assist with rolling stock taking and keeping stock location accurate.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. This is a dual role which requires the applicant to perform in either role when required in the Branch. Ideally, the successful candidate should have previous experience working within a similar background of Warehouse or Commercial vehicle parts.

Responsibilities

• Driver Pack and load products onto vans according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
• Picking customer orders, loading vans and making regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
• Oversee the dispatch of orders and coordinate van deliveries
• Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
• Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is located correctly at all times
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
