Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver to join our expanding installation teams. You will drive a company van, support engineers at sites, and ensure safe, secure handovers while keeping the warehouse and yard orderly.

Base salary £28,668 with OTE up to £30,753, uniform and PPE provided, and a van supplied by Octopus. Flexible shifts 06:00–22:00 across a nationwide operation.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 3 points).
• Experience driving and operating a 3.5 ton Luton Van (or similar), ideally in a customer-facing role.
• Physically fit to meet the demands of a multi-drop driving and warehouse role.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centre.
• Be able to speak confidently with customers with a friendly, proactive and 'can do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive, collect and deliver goods to sites nationally with a company provided Luton Van.
• Provide site support to engineers and customers so goods are left in a secure, safe and practical place.
• Be the face of the company, offering an exceptional delivery service for our customers.
• Take responsibility for the efficient running of the warehouse for Goods In, Goods Out, Pack Build, Goods Assembly, Returns and Stock Control.
• Support on other tasks such as vehicle pick ups, maintenance, cleaning/servicing equipment, and checking inventory.
