Job summary

William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Delivery Driver 3.5t in Cupar. The role involves delivering plumbing and heating supplies, assisting customers at the trade counter, and handling product enquiries by phone and email.

You will manage stock in the warehouse, ensure paperwork accuracy, and pick/pack orders, including heavy items. A full UK driving licence and a proactive customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience delivering to customers and handling trade counter queries is preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Strong customer service and sales skills are important.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help across branches.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t automatic van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies within a 30 mile radius.
• Assist customers at the trade counter with product advice and recommendations.
• Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email promptly and courteously.
• Ensure deliveries comply with paperwork and handle discrepancies; put stock away in the warehouse.
• Pick and pack items, including heavy items, for order fulfillment.
