Are you a customer-focused van driver with experience in home deliveries and manual handling of heavy goods? If you’re looking for more than just a driving job, this could be the perfect role for you.

At Bensons for Beds, our delivery drivers are the face of our brand—delivering not only furniture, but also exceptional service. As part of a two-person team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their new beds, mattresses, and furniture items safely, professionally, and with a smile.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering customer orders on time and to the room of choice, keeping customers informed and updated.

• Providing top-tier customer service at every step of the delivery journey.

• Assembling furniture when required and ensuring all items are handled with care.

• Representing Bensons professionally in appearance, attitude, and communication.

• Maintaining your vehicle’s cleanliness and roadworthiness and reporting any defects.

• Following our Customer Delivery Charter to ensure consistent, high-quality service.

What We’re Looking For:

• A full UK driving licence (you must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes).

• Experience in commercial driving and manual handling of heavy goods.

• Strong customer service skills and a professional, courteous manner.

• Basic knowledge of EU driving and tachograph legislation.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• PDA experience is desirable, but not essential – training will be provided.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing delivery or logistics role.

• Confidence in verbal communication and problem-solving.

• A positive, can-do attitude with pride in delivering a great experience.
