Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a delivery operations leader to supervise a team including HGV and van drivers, pickers and loaders. You will plan outbound deliveries to ensure orders are delivered on time and to quality standards, while supporting branch operations and driving customer service and profitability.

You will coach and develop your team, maintain safe working practices, and contribute to achieving branch targets. The role is based in a UK store with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a delivery/branch team.
• Strong planning and organisational skills for outbound deliveries.
• Ability to coach and develop team members to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing delivery team (HGV, vans, pickers, loaders).
• Plan and manage outbound deliveries to meet on-time, in-full targets.
• Oversee loading/picking to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Drive delivery performance, cost control, and KPI achievement.
• Maintain safe, compliant working environment and capacity planning.
• Deliver excellent customer service and identify sales opportunities.
• Support branch operations and act as senior leader on duty when required.
