Job summary

Booker is the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler, serving independent retailers and small businesses across the country. We are seeking a Transport Supervisor to manage the day-to-day delivery operation, lead drivers and pickers, and drive customer satisfaction through excellent service and safety compliance.

You will ensure policy adherence, communicate key information to the team, and support vehicle maintenance and timely task completion.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising a small to medium sized team in a warehouse or transport setting.
• Experience working in a customer focused environment.
• Maintenance of safety and regulatory standards in transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for day-to-day running of a busy delivery operation.
• Lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating to meet daily targets.
• Ensure Delivered Department complies with policy and communicates management information.
• Promote brand image through knowledge of products and customer service.
• Assist the delivery manager to keep vehicles roadworthy and compliant.
• Plan and coordinate tasks to be completed efficiently.
