We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a busy delivery service. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to meet daily targets. Customer satisfaction is our priority, so excellent telephone and customer service skills are essential.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, applying consistent approaches across the team.
• Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all colleagues and customers, reporting any health & safety concerns to management.
• Promote and uphold the brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service, ensuring company guidelines are followed.
• Assist the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in a warehouse or transport environment.
• Experience working in a customer-focused setting.
• Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
