Job description

Delivery Supervisor - Bestway Southampton

We have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join our delivery team at Southampton branch.

As the Delivery Supervisor, you will support and manage an efficient, effective, and successful delivery service.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Develop a positive and united team culture.
  2. Ensure clear communication in a timely manner regarding the allocation of team member duties.
  3. Coordinate activities within the Delivery Centre / Hub across functions to ensure synchronized marshalling and loading with Picking and Replenishment.
  4. Manage asset management procedures related to the return of Cages, Totes, Pallets, and other delivery tools.
  5. Maintain the vehicle routing application (Paragon) for optimal results.

We’re looking for someone with:

  1. Experience in different logistics operations.
  2. Experience in a B2C multi-drop, multi-temperature operation.
  3. Confidence in decision-making with the ability to follow through and execute decisions effectively.
  4. Highly organized with exceptional planning skills to manage and prioritize tasks.
  5. Strategic problem-solving skills, capable of adapting plans with minimal business impact.
  6. Significant experience in delivering excellent Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
  7. Commercially focused and target-driven.
  8. Ability to give clear directions.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
