Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy delivery operation. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to achieve daily targets. We are passionate about customer satisfaction. Excellent telephone and customer service skills are required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, maintaining consistency with all team members.
  2. Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
  3. Supervise and maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting any health & safety concerns to the store management team.
  4. Promote and drive brand image through product knowledge, excellent customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
  5. Support the delivery manager to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
  6. Supervise, plan, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.
  7. Experience in supervising a small to medium-sized team in warehouse or transport environments.
  8. Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  9. Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
