Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a busy delivery service. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to meet their targets. We are passionate about customer satisfaction, and excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, applying consistent management practices.
  2. Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
  3. Supervise a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health & safety concerns.
  4. Promote and uphold brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service, adhering to company guidelines.
  5. Assist the delivery manager in maintaining vehicle roadworthiness and legal compliance.
  6. Plan, supervise, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience supervising a small to medium team in a warehouse or transport environment.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
